OPERATION_VERMIN was created for the Godot Wild Jam #84 (August 8th to August 17th, placed #12 overall). The theme was CRITTERS, so I chose sewer rats as the critters.

GAMEPLAY

The sewer rats deep beneath the city streets are growing restless, and they are hungry for freedom. Why are they trapped? I don't know, but they're ready to chew through everything in their path.

Strategically place your rats to take out the pest control bots, to gain $. You can have as many rats as you want, as long as you can afford it. The goal is to maximize destruction while minimizing loss.

Obstacles like bombs and sawblades can wipe out all your rats in seconds, but everything you see is destructible. Use that to your advantage.

There are 8 levels to plow through, each getting progressively harder.

JAM #84

The Godot Wild Jam has wildcards which change each jam; they provide an optional limitation to the game's theme. 

For jam #84 they were: 

BUTTON SMASH (Add a Quick Time Event to your game)

RAGE ROOM (Include destructible objects/environments)

PERSONALIZED COPY (The game changes slightly each time it runs)

While there are no QTE's here, almost everything in this game is destructible, and the level generation is randomized.

(I had alot of fun making this one!)
